How to track your VATSIM flight
Connect to VATSIM with your simulator's pilot client, then open Infinite Aeroshow in a browser, sign in, choose VATSIM and Track my flight, and search the callsign you connected with. Keep it on a second screen to follow your route and arrival estimates. Nothing is installed in the simulator.

1. Connect to VATSIM
Your aircraft has to be on the network. Connect the simulator with an approved VATSIM pilot client: VATSIM lists vPilot for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, 2020 and X and for Prepar3D, xPilot for X-Plane 12 and 11, and swift for older simulators such as FS2004 and FlightGear. Note the callsign you enter when you connect.
2. File your flight plan
Departure, destination and route come from the flight plan filed for that connection. Without one the aircraft can still appear on the map, but route progress and arrival estimates have nothing to follow.
3. Open Infinite Aeroshow and choose VATSIM
Open the live map in a modern browser on a computer, tablet or phone and sign in with Google or a passkey. Choose VATSIM as the network; Casual, Training and Expert are Infinite Flight servers and do not apply to VATSIM flights.
4. Choose Track my flight and search your callsign
Track my flight shows and follows only your own aircraft. Search the callsign you connected with, for example DAL123, select your flight in the results and start the map. Choose Explore instead to browse every live VATSIM flight.
5. Keep it on a second screen
Keep the simulator on your main screen and the map on a tablet, phone or second monitor. The moving map shows route progress and arrival estimates. Economy adds map layers and airport cards with ATC and ATIS; First Class adds cockpit, wing and seat views of the same flight.
If your flight is not listed
Check that the pilot client is still connected, that you chose VATSIM rather than an Infinite Flight server, and that the callsign matches the one you connected with. VATSIM maps refresh who is online periodically, so a new connection can take a moment to appear: search again before changing anything else. A flight plan filed without connecting is not a live flight.

Frequently asked questions
Which simulators work?
Any simulator connected to VATSIM. Infinite Aeroshow reads VATSIM network data, so Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, Prepar3D and older simulators with an approved pilot client all work the same way, and nothing is installed in the simulator.
Do I need a VATSIM account to watch?
To track your own flight you have to be connected to VATSIM as a pilot, which needs a VATSIM account. Watching other live VATSIM flights in Explore needs only an Infinite Aeroshow account.
Can I use a phone or tablet as the second screen?
Yes. Infinite Aeroshow runs in a modern browser on computers, tablets and phones. Try it on your device during the trial to check performance.
Is it free?
A 100-hour First Class trial is available; only the time you spend watching counts, within 30 days of turning it on. Paid plans include Economy Class at $1.95/month and First Class at $2.95/month, with yearly and lifetime options. Prices are in USD and VAT may apply.
